Kids look forward to wonderful lazy days of summer all year long. Then, after about two weeks, the "I'm bored...!" complaints can start to set in. Let us help keep them busy and learning! The Mayor's Summer Reading Club is an eight-week program for both children and adults that's designed to keep kids' skills sharp over the summer break, provide opportunities for family time, and encourage a love of reading in all ages.

Registration now for the 2017 Mayor's Summer Reading Club! The program runs from Saturday, June 3 through Saturday, July 29. As soon as you've reached a goal for your age group, stop by the Kennedale Library to choose your prize!

When your nose isn't buried in a book, join us for our exciting summer programs at your Kennedale Public Library (316 W 3rd Street):
